Complex Care

The Complex Care team is led by Sue Walsh the registered manager and supported closely by Emma Sowden our Nurse Consultant. The team are all trained specifically to meet the needs of each individual within the service.  Staff training is specifically tailored to meet your needs to make sure that you are safe and everyone knows how you require your care to be delivered. We work with external professionals to provide specialist training but the majority of training needs are met by our experienced team.

The most important thing is that you are involved every step of the way, from helping us develop your support plan; selection of your team (with our support); to planning your day-to-day activities. You and/or your family will work with our Assessment Team to create your support plan. We work with you and your family to help you achieve your own personal goals and aspirations, allowing you to live life to the full.

We are experienced in providing a whole range of services, including support for people who have their respiration supported by ventilation, acquired brain and/or spinal cord injury and complex learning disabilities including autism. Families find that our flexible approach provides them with peace of mind and the ability to change the package of care to fit around family life.

We constantly monitor your provision of support and assess what is working and what could be improved in order to achieve that. Clinical supervision is available to your staff team involving your psychologists, physiotherapists etc.
