We are passionate about our values and believe this shines through our training and induction, which covers all fundamental training which gives our team members the confidence and tools to offer our service users the highest quality of care.
We offer paid in-depth induction and continuous training throughout employment at NCCN. The induction training covers:
- First Aid
- Health and Safety
- Moving and Positioning
- The Care Certificate
- Medication Administration
- GDPR
- Mental Capacity Act
- The role of a support worker
- And more.

We encourage and support team members who aspire and to develop their skill set and knowledge, through additional training and qualifications. This could be through an apprenticeship or through additional continuous personal development (CPD).
If an individual has specific needs we are able to deliver bespoke care training in addition to training for those who employ their personal assistants through Personal Budgets, Nursing Homes, Residential Homes and Domiciliary Care Companies. Training can be delivered in your workplace or at our Training Unit in Market Weighton to ensure continuous professional development.
