Training

The Training Department have more than 100 combined years of experiencing working in a range of different health and social care settings. NCCN’s company values inform our work, and we pride ourselves on our robust and comprehensive training. As a result, this allows staff to gain the necessary skills, knowledge, and confidence to be able to provide the highest quality care and support. 

As of 2026, we provide over 30 different paid training courses, covering both physical and mental health needs, including:

We encourage and support staff who aspire to develop their skills and knowledge, through additional training and qualifications. This includes apprenticeships, NVQ, and continuous personal development (CPD). We also offer bespoke training for those who employ their personal assistants through Personal Budgets, Nursing Homes, Residential Homes, and other Domiciliary Care Providers; and this can be delivered in your workplace, or at our dedicated Training Centre in Market Weighton.
