Our registered Manager Rachel Taylor, her team of care coordinators and support staff provide personal care to people living in their own homes. We provide a service to older adults, younger disabled adults and people living with dementia or mental health problems. Each package of care is tailored to your needs. We go the ‘extra mile working with you and your family to effectively assess and understand, how we can support you within your own community. Our friendly and professional staff have the right skills, knowledge and experience to meet your overall goals and outcomes. We seek advice and support from our multi-disciplinary team, and we work closely with our health and social care partners to provide a seamless service to you every day of the week.

A Brief History

Meadow Lodge Home Care Services was founded in 1994, and dedicated to delivering the highest quality bespoke care solutions for elderly people living in the community, including those with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and mental health challenges. Other services provided include supporting children and their families, domestic work or to provide relieve to a care worker or relative who needs a break.

The Meadow Lodge Home Care Services team is highly experienced and professional, with an extensive knowledge of best care practices led by Rachel Taylor. Their services are formed using a strength based approach, designed to align with each individual’s unique needs, goals and aspirations, ensuring that they receive the necessary care and support to continue residing safely in their own homes.

Geographically offering homecare in the The district is indeed made up of Wakefield and the Five Towns (Ponteract, Castleford, Knottingley, Featherstone, and Normanton other towns include Hemsworth, South Elmsall and South Kirby.

Now a part of the New Concept Care Nursing family (NCCN), which was established in 1992, Meadow Lodge Home Care Services has further expanded its reach. NCCN Ltd operates from two additional office locations: the main office in Market Weighton, East Riding of Yorkshire, and a sister branch in Selby, North Yorkshire.

Rachel Taylor, the branch registered manager, and the team are dedicated to working collaboratively with all team members and alongside other professionals, including North Yorkshire Council, Wakefield Metropolitan District Council and health professionals.
