Emma Sowden – Nurse Consultant

Hi, I’m Emma am I the Nurse Consultant for NCCN working across the Market Weighton and Selby branches. I have worked here since 2018 and I have loved every minute, NCCN is a very supportive workplace and I work with a fab bunch of people.

After qualifying as a Registered Nurse, I worked in a surgical ward with an attached Nurse Enhanced Unit caring for seriously ill patients with complex needs. Following this, I worked in a Neurological Rehabilitation Centre with people with life-limiting neurological conditions and brain injuries; and as a Clinical Assessor assessing claimants for disability benefits.

My other roles within NCCN include Medication and First Aid Trainers and Mental Health First Aider.
