Jen Walsh – Digital Media Officer

My name is Jen, and I am currently working as the Digital Media Officer at NCCN.

My journey with NCCN began in 2004 when I joined as a part-time care worker. During my early years at NCCN, I completed my Level 3 qualification in Adult Health and Social Care. I was promoted to the role of care coordinator. In this new position, I had the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities, such as managing and coordinating care teams and ensuring the smooth running of care services.

However, life took an exciting turn for me when I decided to start a family. I made the difficult decision to step away from my role at NCCN in 2017 to focus on my young family.

In 2022, I eagerly returned to NCCN. This time, I took on a different role, becoming involved in the dynamic and ever-evolving world of digital media. As the Digital Media Officer, my responsibilities expanded beyond direct care provision.

Now, I focus on driving the recruitment efforts for NCCN, attracting talented and compassionate individuals to join our care teams who align with our values of trust, respect, excellence, and kindness.

Additionally, I handle all forms of digital media and advertising initiatives. We strive to connect with individuals and families in need of support, offering them the reassurance that they are not alone in their journey.

I am deeply involved in NCCN’s social responsibility efforts. We understand the importance of giving back to the communities we serve and actively engage in various charitable and community-based activities. Whether it’s organising events, participating in fundraising campaigns, or volunteering our time and skills.

I look forward to the future with NCCN, where I hope to contribute further to the improvement of care services and the well-being of the staff and those we provide services for.
