Salary: From £12.00p/h plus mileage and travelling time
Job Summary:
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Support Workers to join our team. As a Domiciliary Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Helping with mobility and transferring, as required.
- Medication support, including administering medication and recording dosages.
- Preparing and serving meals and assisting if necessary.
- Supporting with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry.
- Monitoring and recording health and well-being, and reporting any changes to the relevant healthcare professionals.
- Providing social support companionship to clients.
Requirements:
- A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to help others.
- Previous experience in care work or a relevant qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to manage your own workload effectively.
- A flexible approach to work, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, as required.
- A full driving license and access to a vehicle is essential for this role.
