I have been working in the care sector for 14 years (starting in 2010) with my first role being with NCCN starting as a care worker, after four years with NCCN I went on to work in residential care that specialised in dementia and after having two children returned to NCCN in 2021 where I worked as a carer before becoming a care coordinator in 2023. I still enjoy going out caring and seeing my regular service users.
My role as a care coordinator includes supporting my team of support workers with daily rotas, supervisions and reviews and from being a carer myself I understand how important it is to feel supported by your care coordinator.
I work alongside Service users and their family members and other professionals to ensure the highest quality of care is offered to each individual.
